  1. Globalization vs Non-Globalization. The trend has obviously been towards the former for a long time. I have a feeling that there will be a thrust towards Non and that will appear to be the “regime” change they are talking about. But I also think it will be extremely short lived and ultimately throw the world towards the “TRUE” globalization. Think about the conversation we had regarding who dominates world power where that trend is and how does the change of guard happen when it comes time.

  2. One of the reasons conservatives and mainly capitalists have agreed with Trump is the fact that he is not allowing trade and economics to just be “status quo”. This is where I am complete agreement with the direction of our current government. To be honest I don’t think he understands (or aims for) the greater good of our country but being a business man he does understand leverage and is pushing buttons and levers politicians have been afraid to do, and usually afraid because of the economist that advise and guide them. But with Trump he is smarter than the “rest of them”, but that is not praise… sometimes hubris occurs in a favorable time.

  3. One concept this really drives home is what is controlling inflation? When they talk about how technology and the use of it by the entrepreneur is “trying to right a price or right a margin”. Think about that, those seeking to make money is not at how to provide something the buying public wants but how do we optimize the delivery and squeeze it to be more efficient…. That really is what has kept this economic cycle so long the uptrend!!! Do you think we will ever see double digit interest in the remainder of our lives?
